Digital Art Research

This is awesome.

Check it out!

So, I've started to get in to knowing more about what I'm doing. I've started to research the history and current trends in digital art as well as keep abreast of what's going on in the realms of contemporary and conceptual.

I've looked in to the New York Digital Salon, and I've ordered some books as an early birthday present to myself on digital art. Can anyone guide me to information or artists I should know?

This is what I bought:

"Art of the Digital Age"
Bruce Wands

"New Media Art (Taschen Basic Art Series)"
Mark Tribe

The 2002 Whitney biennial must've been mind blowing as everyone I've read about in the field seems to have been represented.

I'm very interested in knowing more about Digital Art, which Galleries work with Digital Artists, what they expect, which artists have been outstandingly influential, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
